Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 2, 2026
Truth24 is a Going Merry web product for following news coverage with source context, story timelines, personalization, and premium access. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we use it, how we share it, and the choices you may have.
Where This Policy Applies
This policy applies to Truth24 websites, accounts, subscriptions, story pages, preferences, analytics, support communications, and related web services that link to it. It does not control the privacy practices of publishers, Stripe, Google, PostHog, or other third-party services you visit separately.
Information You Provide
We may collect information you choose to provide, including email address, name, Google account details shared during sign-in, profile preferences, role or topic interests, location context such as country, state, or city, feedback on stories, support messages, and account or billing requests.
Account And Authentication Data
To create and protect accounts, we use sign-in identifiers, verified email status, session cookies, authentication provider information, login timestamps, and security records. Truth24 may support Google sign-in, email code sign-in, or other login methods.
Subscription And Payment Data
Paid subscriptions are processed by Stripe. Stripe may collect payment method, billing, tax, fraud-prevention, and checkout data under its own terms and privacy policy. Truth24 may receive subscription status, plan, billing email, customer identifiers, payment outcome, cancellation, renewal, and webhook events needed to manage access. We do not receive or store full card numbers.
Usage, Device, And Cookie Data
When you use Truth24, we may collect pages viewed, stories opened, sections selected, searches, feedback actions, subscription prompts, feature usage, approximate device and browser information, performance data, error data, IP-derived region, referral information, and cookie or similar identifiers. Cookies may support sign-in sessions, OAuth security, preferences, analytics, checkout, fraud prevention, and site reliability.
Analytics
Truth24 may use analytics tools such as PostHog and Google Analytics to understand product usage, improve performance, measure account and subscription flows, and detect problems. We try to avoid sending direct personal information in analytics events and may use aggregated, pseudonymous, or limited identifiers where practical.
News Sources And AI-Assisted Processing
Truth24 processes public news data such as article links, headlines, snippets, publishers, timestamps, topics, source metadata, and market references. We may use AI providers, including Google Gemini, to help group reports, generate summaries, produce timelines, compare source coverage, identify uncertainty, and improve personalized briefings. Account preferences and story feedback may be used to tune your briefing, but full payment card details are not used for AI-assisted news analysis.
How We Use Information
We use information to provide and secure Truth24, authenticate readers, personalize briefings, enforce free and paid access limits, manage Stripe subscriptions, process support requests, send service notices, improve story quality, measure product performance, prevent abuse, comply with law, and develop new or improved features.
How We Share Information
We may share information with service providers that help run Truth24, including hosting, database, security, authentication, analytics, email, payment, AI, news data, customer support, legal, accounting, and infrastructure providers. We may also share information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, with consent, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, or sale of assets. We do not sell personal information.
Your Choices And Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, object to, restrict, or withdraw consent for certain personal information. You can update some account preferences in Truth24, block or delete cookies through your browser, use analytics privacy controls where offered, cancel subscriptions through the billing flow, or contact us for help with privacy requests.
Retention
We keep information for as long as needed to provide Truth24, maintain accounts and subscriptions, comply with law, resolve disputes, enforce terms, protect security, and preserve legitimate business records. Some aggregated analytics or deidentified records may be kept longer because they no longer reasonably identify an individual.
Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No online service can guarantee perfect security, so you should use a secure email account, protect your sign-in method, and contact us if you believe your account or information has been compromised.
Children
Truth24 is not directed to children under 13, or under 16 where that higher age applies. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below the applicable age. If you believe a child provided personal information to Truth24, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
International Transfers
Truth24 and its providers may process information in the United States and other countries where privacy laws may differ from those in your location. Where required, we rely on appropriate transfer mechanisms or safeguards.
Changes To This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as Truth24 changes. If we make material changes, we will try to provide reasonable notice through the product, email, or another appropriate method. The updated date shows when the policy was last changed.
